Many of us believe that John Boehner has been the weakest Republican Speaker of the House we’ve seen in our time on this planet. Given any chance to surrender and sell out to the progressives in both parties, Boehner has always backed down and almost never stands up for the conservative principles that are espoused by the vast majority of voters to elected the Republican majority to Congress in the 2010 and 2014 elections.
So it’s clear we need a plan to elect a Speaker of the House from the Republican wing of the GOP rather than another leader from the Democrat Lite faction of the House GOP caucus. The establishment is likely to back California Cong. Kevin McCarthy, who is likely to be just as much of a surrender to the liberals Speaker as Boehner has been. We can do much better, and we the people who elected this Republican Congress must stand up demand they elect a candidate as the new Speaker who represent us and the agenda we voted for in the last three elections for Congress.
The Great One himself, Mark Levin, has commented on the need for electing the right candidate for Speaker, and has called on House Republicans, saying Do Not Support Kevin McCarthy for Speaker. Levin told Breitbart News, “Kevin McCarthy is Eric Cantor with ten less IQ points,” and called on members of Congress to elect a “principled conservative” as the next Speaker of the House.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
“The Republican establishment never learned their lesson after Cantor…They replaced Cantor with Kevin McCarthy, who is a wheeler and dealer—not a principled conservative,” Levin said, “My concern now is that they will do the same thing again.”
There was have it, Mark Levin is on board with the idea that we need to elect a real conservative as our next Speaker of the People’s House, the Republican Congress that we the people elected. Maybe after Levin has stood up to take the lead on this issue, we can only hope that others in the conservative media will do that same. I applaud Mark Levin for taking this stand, and I am doing my part here to do that same. I call on all conservatives and TEA Party activists across the country to join this campaign to get a real principled conservative elected as our new Speaker.
Standing with Mark Levin, We the people must stand up and demand that the GOP caucus elects a conservative Republican, not another liberal RINO, as the next Speaker of the House. We can do this, and there is a simple plan that can be put into action to make it happen.
