Wanted: Insane Asylums. Woman Believes She is Half Horse?
Delusion is rampant - even worse than we thought or totally fake news
People Magazine did a feature article affirming a young woman in Germany who believes she is “half horse, half human, full musician.” The are two issues here: the woman who is delusional, and People Magazine “affirming” her delusion. As long as delusion is constantly “affirmed” this problem will continue. It could be a huge act of horsing around – but may indeed be bad for non-delusional people. We thought it should have been published on April Fool’s Day, but maybe delayed?

HorsegiirL: I was brought up in the countryside, very classic, on a farm, surrounded by lots of animals and nature, but I’ve always been drawn to music. Nature is a very musical place. Anyone that likes to go for a hike knows that there’s constantly a concert of all sorts of animals going on. I got into it more professionally after we did an annual harvest feast festival thing and I was discovered by a really, really famous horse, also a singer, Whitney Horseton. Ever since then I’ve been galloping around stages, and three years ago I made the crossover into the human music space a little bit more. It’s been very fun.
Whitney Horseton? Yikes. Go get rid of the makeup and wear your normal face. She insists she’s not a centaur, just a “normal boring horse.” How rude of her to call horses ‘boring’. Oh, and she claims that hay isn’t particularly nutritious. OY.
