JD Holt’s pronouns are “They, them, Turtle.” “They” go by “JD Terrapin” on Facebook and is a panelist on the Oregon Consumer Advisory Council which advises on Mental Health issues at the Oregon Health Authority.
This gender identity left them shell-shocked.
A member of a state panel advising the director of Oregon’s Health Authority (OHA) made a wild first impression at a meeting by proclaiming, “I use they, them and turtle for my pronouns.”
JD Holt, who also goes by “JD Terrapin” on Facebook, made the declaration with a straight face while introducing themself at a virtual council meeting on Dec. 20.
“Hello everybody, it’s JD. I use they, them and turtle for my pronouns. I’m in the Springfield-Eugene area and I get to be part of the council,” Holt said enthusiastically. New York Post
Wait…where’s the shell? It’s in the turtle identity. “They” retreat into that shell to be “safe” from the judgments of the world. And when they are in that shell, the world can’t penetrate to cause sadness or even embarrassment.
Currently there are a plethora of “identities” – people who identify as stuffed animals, people who identify as cats or dogs, men as women, women as men…it’s nuts. Trump’s executive order for the government requiring only two genders will take a long time to fix the weirdness, if it can even be done without a sovereign move of God.

Gender identity is not real gender. But in some strange manner, there is a sort of plan for this Turtle. “They/them/turtle” is advising the Oregon Health Authority on mental illness issues. Helpful, don’t you think?
