Video of the Day: ‘If you purchased that AR-15, if you own it, keep it’ — Beto O’Rourke in 2018

As we and many others have reported, Beto O’Rourke, the dirt-eatingAmerica-hatingwannabe tyrant who said he would make gun owners sell their weapons to the government, seemed to have a different message when he ran against Ted Cruz in 2018.

While appearing on the The Chad Hasty Show in April 2018, he said that people who own AR-15s should be allowed to keep them.

“I own an AR-15. A lot of our listeners out there own AR-15s. Why should they not have one?” the host asked.

“To be clear, they should have them,” O’Rourke said. “If you purchased that AR-15, if you own it, keep it. Continue to use it responsibly.”

“If you own a gun, keep that gun. Nobody wants to take it away from you — at least I don’t want to do that,” he said later in the interview, Fox News reported.

Here’s video of his statement:

Of course, Beto now has a different opinion and has said more than once that he intends to force AR-15 owners to sell their guns to the government.

In other words, he was FOR the Second Amendment and the right of law-abiding Americans to own AR-15s before he was against it.

Scratch a leftist, find a hypocrite…
