Twitter censorship suspected in alleged suppression of viral #FullofSchiff hashtag
Earlier Thursday, Dave Workman reported that Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., along with other House Democrats, expressed concerns over reported changes made to the controversial FISA memo said to expose a scandal called “worse than Watergate.”
On Wednesday, Schiff sent this tweet:
BREAKING: Discovered late tonight that Chairman Nunes made material changes to the memo he sent to White House – changes not approved by the Committee. White House therefore reviewing a document the Committee has not approved for release. pic.twitter.com/llhQK9L7l6
— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) February 1, 2018
The Washington Examiner‘s Byron York, however, set the record straight, explaining that the “material changes” were mere “‘grammatical and clarifying’ fixes,” along with a modification Democrats requested.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Just talked with House Intel source. Said total changes to memo were: A) Unknown number of 'grammatical and clarifying' fixes. B) One change requested by FBI due to sources & methods concerns. C) One two-word change requested by Democrats for accuracy. House Intel GOP statement: pic.twitter.com/ZkNuMBoLZK

On FBI-requested change to House Intel memo, remember that Nunes showed memo to Wray on Sunday, to two FBI officials on Monday, and WH showed to five more FBI officials on Tuesday. Not shocking that change would be made to address FBI concerns.

On re-vote: Committee can just do it Monday, with White House release immediately after. World won't end. OTOH, Congress often does not make members re-vote on 'technical and conforming' changes. If these changes go beyond that, they can re-vote.

Conservatives, fed up with Schiff’s tactics and misrepresentations, started the hashtag #FullofSchiff on Twitter.
One person, for example, reminded Schiff of his own declaration that Americans are simply incapable of understanding the memo:
Congressman Schiff now claims that the memo has been "secretly altered" in a desperate attempt to stop it from going public.
But, Congressman, I thought we were too stupid to understand the memo, so why are you so worried? #FullOfSchiff #ReleaseTheMemo

Jack Posobiec helped get things rolling:

Others, including a GOP insider and Infowars’ Paul Joseph Watson, helped it along:

It would be awful if #FullofSchiff began trending. pic.twitter.com/0K2hP2R8sn

Donald Trump Jr. also helped:

Posobiec noticed the hashtag had at one time garnered well over 30,000 tweets — certainly enough to make it trend:

It actually began trending, but a funny thing happened on the way to Twitter:
#FullOfSchiff was trending. Presumably, Twitter intervened. pic.twitter.com/Oqz9MmHMg2

James Brower, a former Trump state campaign official, apparently spotted something that led him to believe Twitter intervened to suppress the hashtag:

Twitter is trying to censor the viral #FullOfSchiff hashtag.https://t.co/khQ4elrGWt#ThursdayThoughts

One person posted a series of videos on YouTube that reportedly proves Twitter is censoring the hashtag:

Here’s the first part posted to YouTube:
And here’s the second part:
Is Twitter actually censoring the hashtag? And if so, why? Could it be that Twitter is so opposed to Americans learning what is in the memo that it’s willing to provide cover for Schiff and his fellow Democrats?
