Trans Closets in Public Schools

Imagine your child leaves home wearing normal clothes. When they get to school they change into something “more appropriate to how they feel” – then as soon as school is over, they change back into normal clothing. As their parent, you may never know there’s a problem. That’s what “trans closets” are for- and they’ve been popping up in public schools across the country in deliberate defiance of parents.

A Facebook Page called “The Transition Closet” has a “religious abuse support group” and has trans closets all over the country, even at a local Lutheran church. They provide “gender-affirming” clothing.

Amare Roush, founder of The Transition Closet, told The Epoch Times that her organization does support keeping the existence of trans closets at schools secret from parents, because of the abuse she says children often face at home if they disclose to their parents they are transgender.

“We do provide a safe space for kids whose parents are not accepting, because it’s known to help lower the suicide rate,” said Roush who is also a certified advocate for domestic violence victims.

“These kids are going to do it anyway, we just want a way to provide them with a way to do it safely to where they’re not wearing clothes that are too small for them, or doing so in a way that’s going to get them hurt by their parents.”

Roush emphasized that school was the best venue to provide trans kids with trans clothing.

“Kids are at schools 40 hours a week, that’s where they spend most of the time, that’s where they form most of their relationships,” she said, “clothing is a big part of how we express ourselves and those kids that are able to express themselves correctly, are able to feel supported correctly.”

The Epoch Times

Ah, the proverbial “parents-are-bad, schools-are-good” argument. What the Transition Closet spokesperson failed to mention is that people pushed this entire transgender idea on the children of America. They didn’t come up with it on their own. It took one journalist from PJ Media $1,650 to obtain records from the school about a trans closet in Denver. Pretty high price to pay for obtaining documents in an FOIA request.

“The near future holds transition closet[s] and services throughout the school district for students of the Trans/Nonbinary/Intersex and additional LGBTQIA+ community members.”

The Transition Closet

According to the Epoch Times, it’s not just teens in high schools: “Marshall University, the University of Arkansas, Penn State, and the University of California are among colleges that have been operating trans closets for years.” The Transition Closet sells workbooks and runs name change clinics.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

This agenda is so deeply entrenched in schools and even certain churches that it’s going to take a LOT to remove it, if it can be done at all. As trans closets grow, so does the problem. It’s one big reason why school boards are at the crux of the matter- the more parents get involved the better, in spite of being investigated by the government.
