Democrats never understand that their foolish tactics work against their own agenda. Nowhere is that clearer than when Minority Leader (using the term loosely) Hakeem Jeffries stood at podium of the House and talked and talked and talked for over 7 hours on Wednesday-Thursday. His “Magic Minute” should have been over hours ago. Although most took naps as he talked.
The House rules allow a leader to talk for an indeterminate time, although some a claiming it’s not legal. That rule should be changed from “Magic Minute” to “Shut off the babbling.”
Hakeem Jefferies CAN NOT speak for as long as he wants.

Jeffries hopes to delay the vote on Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” until the Representatives return after vacation. He’s calling the “big ugly bill” an “assault” on Americans and organized labor. The problem is that now, at least one undecided vote has turned into a yes because of this stupidity.

Andy Ogles (R-TN) said, “Dollar Store Obama has been hysterically rambling for over three and a half hours, whining about tax cuts for working Americans, bonuses for our brave law enforcement, and mass deportations of illegals. He’s still droning on like a broken record. Meanwhile, President Trump has already secured the votes. The American people stand firmly behind him. Hakeem needs to get off the House floor, take a drug test, and start putting America FIRST — not last…Not sure if his batteries are running low or if he’s just low-T, but someone needs to hand Discount Dollar Store Obama some caffeine ASAP.” Breitbart
“Discount Dollar Store Obama.” The name-calling has begun. But the real problem is that one undecided Representative will now vote FOR the bill thanks to Jeffries and his plan to derail the BBB.

Personally, I am totally sick of Democrats and their obstructionism. When Senator Cory Booker babbled on and on for hours earlier in the year, it did not stop Republicans for long.
We as voters spoke loudly in November of 2024. Democrats are so stupid that they refuse to let Trump do what we asked him to do without stunts that are totally cringe. Activist judges, disgusting Democrats, our President is surrounded by swamp opposition. Hakeem Jeffries will not win this battle; he’s already lost it.
