Timothy Thibault was an assistant FBI Special-agent-in-charge of the DC office who reportedly blocked the Hunter Biden investigation prior to the 2020 election, and opened an investigation into Trump based solely on liberal news articles, according to whistleblowers. He was escorted out of the building on Friday, after resigning from the Bureau last week. Reportedly, that is “standard procedure” for agents who have resigned. It’s standard procedure for someone who’s been fired in most other cases. But ok, we’ll let that slide. Is the FBI unraveling?
Timothy Thibault: too little too late?
Whistleblowers claimed that Thibault instilled political bias into the investigation into Hunter Biden, an allegation that he denies. His retirement is just the tip of a spear that has been growing larger and sharper for years. Names like Comey, McCabe, Strzok, and their ilk have been above the law since Obama was in office. Their purpose was power then, and those who remain want to keep that power. It’s primarily the DC office, by the way, not the entire FBI (we hope). Timothy Thibault’s retirement may be too little too late.
However, the statement also acknowledges the bureau’s Office of Special Counsel is investigating whether social media posts by Thibault violated the federal government’s Hatch Act, which essentially prohibits civil servants from engaging in political activities.
The statement says Thibault expects to be “fully exonerated” when the probe is concluded and denies he “took certain actions in investigations for partisan reasons.”
Whistleblowers have alleged partisan bias in Thibault’s work at the bureau. And Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said in May that Thiebault [sic] “likely” violated federal regulations through politically-charged social media posts.
The egregious actions by FBI leadership have destroyed any levels of trust that might have existed in what was once the world’s premier law enforcement agency. The Washington Bureau has become the enforcement arm of the Democrats. GOP Senators wrote letters to Christopher Wray demanding an investigation into the allegations of corruption.

“After the FBI obtained the Hunter Biden laptop from the Wilmington, DE computer shop, these whistleblowers stated that local FBI leadership told employees, ‘You will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop’ and that the FBI is ‘not going to change the outcome of the election again.’
“While I understand your hesitation to investigate a matter that may be related to an ongoing investigation, it is clear to me based on numerous credible whistleblower disclosures that the FBI cannot be trusted with the handling of Hunter Biden’s laptop.”
The allegations alone against Trump were not only unjustified, they put him and his family in harm’s way from the moment he declared his candidacy in 2015. He has yet to come out from under the plethora of investigations. Yet Hillary and her corrupt crew have remained out of jail. All because the law enforcement agency charged with taking out the trash was collecting it instead.
