A shocking new Politico/Morning Consult poll reveals American voters “have increasing doubts about the health and mental fitness of President Joe Biden, the oldest man ever sworn into the White House.”
The poll results show “only 40 percent” of survey respondents agreed Biden “is in good health” but a stunning 50 percent disagree with that assessment.
In addition, while 46 percent think he is mentally fit, 48 percent don’t. According to Politico, “that negative 2-point margin stands in stark contrast to Biden’s numbers last October, when voters believed he was mentally fit by a 21-point margin.”

The Morning Consult poll “generally shows that Trump voters and Republicans generally believe Biden is neither physically nor mentally fit, and Biden voters believe the opposite.
“However,” Politico notes, “independents—by a margin of 23 points—don’t agree that Biden is mentally fit now.”
This poll could rekindle suspicions that Biden was kept off the campaign trail for much of 2020—staying in his basement and campaigning from there—because his campaign handlers did not want him in front of audiences. Donald Trump, on the other hand, traveled all over the country to appear before huge rally audiences. At every move he was demonized by the media, with lots of focus on the now-discredited Steel dossier and “Russia Gate.”
The Politico/Morning Consult survey was conducted Nov. 13-15 and contacted 1,998 registered voters with a +/- 2 percentage point margin of error.
This poll provides reinforcement to the latest Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking poll, which hasn’t changed from Tuesday’s results. While 41 percent of likely voters approve of Biden’s job performance, 58 percent disapprove.
This includes 20 percent who “strongly approve” and 50 percent who “strongly disapprove.” This results in a Presidential Approval Index rating of -30.
