Paul Pelosi, Nancy’s husband, was violently attacked during a home invasion on the early morning of October 28. He was hospitalized and is expected to recover. The suspect is in custody. The Pelosi residence is in San Francisco, which has experienced a rising crime rate after the no bail law, and several other Democrat policies that removed many of the consequences for committing crime.
Update: The suspect was identified as David DePape, 42. Police confirmed that he shouted “Where’s Nancy?” Mr. Pelosi underwent surgery for a fractured skull and is expected to recover.

Speaker Pelosi’s office says that Pelosi’s husband, Paul, was “violently assaulted” by an assailant who broke into the Pelosi residence early this morning. “The assailant is in custody and the motivation for the attack is under investigation.” Paul Pelosi is in the hospital.

According to some accounts, the attacker was said to be looking for the Speaker.
Before the assault occurred, the man confronted Paul Pelosi and shouted, “Where is Nancy? Where is Nancy?” the source said…
San Francisco Police Department Chief Bill Scott told reporters during a news conference on Friday that officers were sent to the scene at approximately 2:27 a.m. for an “A priority well-being check.” When they arrived, they saw a 42-year-old male and Paul Pelosi “both holding a hammer.”
“The suspect pulled the hammer away from Mr. Pelosi and violently assaulted him with it,” Scott said.
Officers then “immediately tackled the suspect, disarmed him” and took him into custody. They also requested backup and rendered medical aid. Both Paul Pelosi and the suspect were brought to a local hospital for treatment.
According to The Associated Press, Pelosi suffered blunt force trauma to his head and body and was being treated for bruising, severe swelling and other injuries. The Hill
Of course, because the attack er allegedly said he was looking for Nancy, the liberals immediately started claiming that “extremist Republicans” did it. There is no evidence at this point for that claim. One outlet claimed it was a nudist activist. The fact is we just don’t know the actual situation yet.
In the United States, major cities like San Francisco are in dire straits from major spikes in crime. Will this attack spur Democrats to do something besides let them get away with it? Or will we see the “poor criminal” attitude that has rocked blue cities for several years?

She’s right, but the attack on Paul Pelosi likely won’t change that Democrat pro-criminal attitude.
