The NY Health Department plans to prioritize Non-Whites in its rollout of Covid treatments. Is that racist? They claim it’s because of systemic “inequities” and they don’t have enough treatments to go around so white people are just out of luck.
New York’s Department of Health released a document detailing their plan to distribute the treatments, such as monoclonal antibody treatment and antiviral pills.
The plan includes a section on eligibility for the scarce antiviral pills that people must meet to receive the treatment, including a line stating a person needs to have “a medical condition or other factors that increase their risk for severe illness.”
The “Risk factors” involved include being anything but white.

Non-white race or Hispanic/Latino ethnicity should be considered a risk factor, as longstanding systemic health and social inequities have contributed to an increased risk of severe illness or death from COVID-19.

New York is in the middle of a surge of Covid cases and their mandates are among the most severe in the country. Florida, however has among the least severe restrictions and their cases are much lower. In NYC patrons cannot dine in a restaurant if they don’t have a “vaccine passport.” Adding discrimination for treatments based on the color of your skin or ethnicity to the mix is not just unconstitutional, it’s plain evil. How about just helping anyone who needs it?

“Who issued this?” “Who actually wrote it and approved it?” “Did the Governor know?” All will be crucial questions. As will the reactions of the Governor, state AG and AG Garland. Question for them all: “Do you believe state action based in any way on race is constitutional?”
Since the left has basically pulled the plug on the Constiution in favor of their own bias…we ‘ll see where this mess ends up.
