Iran is known to be the weapons and funding apparatus behind the Yemeni Houthis. When a Houthi missile slammed onto the tarmac of Israeli’s main Ben Gurion airport on Sunday, tensions increased dramatically. Iran threatened swift response as the US and Israel made statements they viewed as hostile. But the fact that two other missiles aimed at Israel from Friday played strongly into the uptick in tension.
The missile launched on Sunday was missed by Israel’s Iron Dome defense system. That fact launched an investigation as to how and why it was missed. The Iron Dome system is generally extremely effective and rarely has failures.
The two Houthi missiles from Friday were aimed at the Ramat David Air Base and the area surrounding Tel Aviv. But it was the missile missed by Iron Dome on Sunday that created anger. Iran vowed a swift response if Israel or the US tried to retaliate.

A tall order to prevent that “swift response”
What the President and Israel come up with after this latest attack should absolutely destroy Iran’s network of terror. Take out their nuclear capability, take all of their money, and devastate the Houthis. And find a way to institute a change in leadership so that the regular people of Iran can once again be free.
