Here’s What Everyone Missed When Biden Was Struggling To Eat That Salad (Video)

A video of President Joe Biden has gone viral on Elon Musk’s social media platform, X.

The brief clip shows the octogenarian pushing food around on his plate, then picking up a dinner roll, really working hard to break it, and at last, very slowly raising a forkful of food to his mouth.

Yes

If it weren’t for the servers walking in the background and Kelly O’Donnell, senior White House correspondent for NBC News and current president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, chatting to the President, one might think that the video was slowed down to make Biden look positively geriatric.

Which he is.

Not that getting older necessarily means decline, but it does appear to be that in Joe’s case. It’s obvious if you compare a video of him from his basement campaign in 2020 and how he speaks, walks, and acts now. It’s undeniable that he’s not at the same level physically or mentally that he was just a few years ago.

X user Amuse who posted the video in a thread about the dinner wrote, “Meanwhile Biden seemed very confused he was having to feed himself. Playing with his salad, then getting distracted by his dinner roll, the struggling to break the roll, losing interest in the roll, and then barely getting his fork to his mouth.”

While Amuse is generally spot-on when it comes to commentary, this time, there was a small detail that was clearly missed — there was a purpose in Biden switching from the fork to the roll and back again.

Biden did indeed seem to struggle with what Times Now reports was a Jicama, Mango, Pepitas & Baby Oak Salad.

So much so that he had to break apart his multigrain roll and use a piece to push the salad onto his fork.

That’s the thing that most people missed.

Joe Biden is clearly having some difficulty using his utensils.

Struggling to put food on a fork and get it to the mouth is not uncommon for people Biden’s age. Arthritis, weakness, limited range of motion, hand tremors, and decreases in muscle mass and coordination can all contribute to difficulties eating.

Perhaps the President is accustomed to using adaptive eating aids like a scoop dish or easy-hold bent utensils. Things that they could never let him use in public.

Even Joe realizes that he’s having trouble getting food on the fork. He looks up and scans to see if anyone is watching as he picks up the roll.

He knows it would be embarrassing to have the Leader of the Free World show that kind of weakness in public, so he’s trying to be stealthy about it.

The problem is, it’s not just his inability to use utensils that is the problem — he’s wearing “maximum stability” sneakers instead of dress shoes, he’s consistently taking the short stairs when boarding and disembarking Air Force One, he has a light work week and rarely appears in public after 6 pm, and aides are now surrounding him en route to Marine One in order to hide his shuffling gait that they fear makes him look old.

There’s a reason he looks old — he is old. The man is 81, and I’m sorry, but that is old.

Biden should be retired, spending time with his family at his beach house, playing with his dog who apparently has a taste for Secret Service agents, and enjoying all the ice cream he can eat. But Joe insists on running for re-election because it’s the only way he can have a legacy. In the nearly 50 years he has spent in public office, he has had almost no accomplishments. The exceptions would be the 1994 Crime Bill that he’s running from like his hair plugs are on fire, and being the incompetent a-hole that was Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee that engaged in that high-tech lynching of an uppity black man who deigned to think and do for himself and now sits on the Supreme Court.

It’s elder abuse and we all know it when we watch the mumbling, shuffling President.

If Joe had people around him who cared about him more than they cared about protecting the Biden Family Business, they’d tell him not to run and just let it go. But he doesn’t have that.

Watching his decline almost makes me feel bad for him, but then I remember that he’s chosen this, none of his greedy, power-hungry family members have attempted to stop him, and he’s a vile, hateful, nasty little man who has lied about his own personal life and will twist and manipulate any family tragedy to get Democrat votes.

For those reasons, I think it’s just fine to say he’s too damned old and demented to be President for four more years. He can’t feed himself properly, speak coherently, or walk normally anymore. It’s time to stop pretending that this is normal for the Leader of the Free World.
