ESCAPE FROM SINGLE MOM NATION: The Effects of the American “Single Mom” Culture on Our Once Great Country (Video)

I have been a political writer for over 10 years now. Most of my writings are news and politics. Why? That’s my job, of course.

But today I want to tackle something more personal. Yes I will back it up with statistics but you need to understand that I am going through this exact situation right now. My wife kicked me out when I was legally blind, but still working. I kept working after I lost my eyesight by having my children help. I couldn’t see small print at all so they would help me when I needed it. I stopped writing and only used partners’ material. With the help of my kids, I actually made over $10,000 in January 2021. Six months later my wife kicked me out and I had to come to Nebraska. I had no choice. I was 90% blind.

My good friend, Chad Miller, has helped me through some very tough times. I am now legally disabled but I can still write. I won’t beat anyone in a foot race or ever be what I once was physically but my mind is still there and I am fighting like hell to save my kids. My attorneys are doing their thing but I’m trying hard not to go broke and I will continue to work, probably until the day I die, for my kids and Your kids too. My work is important to many.

With all that said, I am taking donations at the end of the article but let’s get to the facts.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Broken Homes are Leading to Adolescent Epidemics

The following statistics were submitted by Paul Clements, a father in this fight, who has shared this compiled research. Much of the research is gender based because there has been a strong father initiative over the last decade to get father’s back into children’s lives after a monotropy standard (which by the way was implemented from mental health workers that the court adopted as the tender years doctrine), this is where the belief was that mother’s were better suited for parenting children, which drove gender-biased family court policies like tender years doctrine, and caused the loss of father’s in children’s lives.

“Look at the detriment to children and society which comes from sole maternal custody” writes Paul.

The long-term health effects of broken families were often devastating. Parental divorce during childhood emerged as the single strongest predictor of early death in adulthood. The grown children of divorced parents died almost five years earlier, on average, than children from intact families. The causes of death ranged from accidents and violence to cancer, heart attack and stroke. Parental break-ups remain, the authors say, among the most traumatic and harmful events for children.

In general it looks like lacking a father is more detrimental, or at least as detrimental, than lacking a mother. That’s what the numbers say.

Single parent families are part of what is wrong with this country folks. Single Dads have problems too. I grew up Catholic and though I now call myself “non-denominational Christian” there are many good things that Catholicism taught. One of which would be that divorce is very wrong. No one can logically argue that divorce is NEVER justified but…

It is one of the biggest problems in America. Children need two parents in the home. But in a nation where single mother homes seem to cause more problems than single father homes, we have this fact to deal with:

For so long, custody for fathers meant a weekends-only schedule or other limited parenting time. But changing family dynamics have led to a sea change in the outcome of custody cases.

The chances of a father getting full custody are climbing. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, fathers made up 20 percent of custodial parents in 2018, up from 16 percent in 1994.

Still, full custody for fathers is far less common than full custody for mothers. Whether this is due to bias against fathers is a hotly debated topic. Overall, many courts prefer awarding joint custody to both parents.

#####

The odds are still against a good father getting full custody of his children. The statistics could be skewed for many reasons. Maybe Moms file for full custody more often. I don’t know. What I do know is that I am still fighting to get my kids and teach them to live in a good Christian home and learn a good work ethic. Their Mom is a drug addict and their only chance is to be with me, in my opinion.

Otherwise they will be strongly indoctrinated into the American welfare state and we know where that road is leading.

America’s future is in the hands of our children, which means you and I need to do our part. I’m still fighting despite my disabilities.

I cry for my kids and pray for them every night. I know I am their best chance despite my disabilities. I can still write, so I will be fine but please pray for my kids: Skyla 10, Autumn and Bailey are 9 yo twins and… Ryker is my only son who is 5 and disabled like Dad. Life is not fair but my kids need a parent who can teach them to win in spite of that.

Prayers are appreciated and financial help if possible. My legal bills are outrageous and bleeding me dry. God Bless You ALL!
