Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Thursday night called Republicans “bastards” live on air during an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Schumer appeared on MSNBC to discuss the House-passed spending bill after he caved and announced he would vote for it.
“The only people they — the only thing they understand is meeting conflict with conflict. So if you look at Doug Ford in Ontario, who banged the table and said, ‘You’re gonna tariff us? I’m gonna tariff you, we’re gonna put a surcharge on electricity,’ — that’s the only thing that gets their attention. The only thing that gets them to back down is meeting conflict with conflict.
