Black Lives Matter nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by a member of the Norwegian Parliament has raised eyebrows. After a summer of so-called “protests” riddled with arson of businesses, looting, and vandalism all across the nation the Parliamentarian said that he “appreciated how BLM have been able to mobilize people from all groups of society, not just African-Americans, not just oppressed people, it has been a broad movement, in a way which has been different from their predecessors.”

The avowed Marxist part escaped the Norwegian entirely.
Awarding the peace prize to Black Lives Matter, as the strongest global force against racial injustice, will send a powerful message that peace is founded on equality, solidarity and human rights, and that all countries must respect those basic principles.’

It also sends the message that demanding, intimidation, and violence are now part of repairing “racial injustice.” Reason is gone; forcibly demanding compliance is now the method.

They have destroyed police departments and placed officers in the crosshairs of hate. Black Lives Matter openly said they wanted to destroy the nuclear family- the backlash was so bad that they scrubbed it from their website. That doesn’t mean they changed their minds, it means they hid it. They stated that the nuclear family promotes racism. Therefore the foundational relationships of a society no longer hold us together; children are indoctrinated to an ideology that says families don’t matter. Adding to all of that is pushing the narrative of the 1619 Project that lies about the founding of America being from slavery rather than the hope of freedom, and you have the perfect storm.
Black Lives Matter nominated for the Nobel peace Prize is just another nail in the coffin of rational thought. Mr Eide, no offense, has no idea what went on in America during the summer – he’s only heard the mainstream narrative.
Oh, yes, they have influenced America, but not for the better. No doubt they will win the Nobel Peace prize in spite of their violence. The Nobel Prize has been a joke for decades. In recent times, the Prize Committee overlooks real people who bring peace for those who have done nothing to earn it or some who have brought only turmoil.
