A member of the radical leftists known as the Brown Beret group was arrested for passing out bionic face masks at the Los Angele riots. Alejandro Theodoro Orellana was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Civil Disorders (18 USC 371) for passing out the masks. As leftists whined, calling the arrest being illegal, and others whined that it didn’t go deep enough to get whoever paid for the masks, it was a damned if you do, damned if you don’t kind of situation.
Conspiracy to Commit Civil Disorders under 18 USC 371 is a felony that carries a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison.
The Brown Beret group is a Chicano Revolutionary Organization that began in 1966 in California. They are a radical Latino paramilitary group that is “embedded” in numerous cities across the country. Their website reflects the desire for power and revolution.

Orellano’s arrest may be just the beginning as more and more radical groups like the Brown Beret insert themselves into “protests.” As we previously reported, these rioters are paid by various left-wing radical groups.
