9-11-2001 – Why We Should Never Forget

9-11-2023 - the 22nd anniversary of the attacks that changed our lives

The US never forgot Pearl Harbor from December 7, 1941, but there is a major difference: the nation that perpetrated the horror of the “day of infamy” eventually surrendered and ultimately became allies in the modern world in spite of the devastation of the atomic bomb. Twenty-two years later, the radical Islamists who crashed airplanes into the World Trade Towers and Pentagon on 9-11-2001 have neither surrendered nor acknowledged their wrongdoing and are scattered throughout civil society. We can’t bomb them out of existence. They continue to be a threat to nations around the world, including our own. We must never forget that day. To forget means to be complacent and indifferent to the terrorists who seek to destroy us.

Never forget 8:46 A.M. Eastern on 9-11-2001

9-11-2001 continues to reverberate as more and more people who attempted to rescue the victims die from unspeakable diseases. The families of the 9-11 victims continue to grieve their losses. Among the rescuers, bravery was demonstrable as those folks stopped at nothing to save others. America was united for one brief moment as the military ranks swelled with men and women who desired to fight for their country.

Things are much different now, thanks to the political scene. We must never forget, regardless of who is in the White House. And we must learn to move forward with passion and resolve for the protection of our nation.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Our military leaders now play social justice games as the US leadership runs from conflict with evil rather than engage it. Will we ever be the “home of the brave” again? Not as long as the current crop of Marxist fools is in charge. The plan is not to confront evil, but to back away from it. Don’t hurt their feelings. Get along with everyone and don’t make waves.

It’s not just disgusting, it’s a national security issue.

Our borders have people tied to radical Islamists, foreign adversaries, and criminals flooding across them. Then there are families and some charlatans claiming to be families wanting to receive the benefits freely offered. The Biden Administration wants to keep some of them in Texas as they fly illegal immigrants all over the nation. And we wonder why even Dem cities who claimed to be “sanctuaries” are complaining and blaming Republicans.

Good has become evil, and evil good in this day and age.

The so-called “Commander-in-Chief” didn’t bother to go to Ground Zero or even Washington DC to honor the victims of 9-11-2001. Instead, he planned a trip to Alaska where he devastated the Fossil Fuel industry.

We must never forget that at 8:46 a.m. Eastern time on 9-11-2001, all of our lives were changed. There are many who don’t care, and many who were too young to remember.  As time moves forward radical forces are at work to destroy what was and bring a different America, one that ignores and placates the threats. It’s why we must never, ever forget.
