2023 was a disaster on so many levels, and there are more just like it on the horizon. The problem isn’t so much the individual issues as it is the main focus itself: “normal” people keep assuming that the leftists are rational people. They are not. And many Republicans have fallen into that trap. Consequently, their efforts to do things in Congress end up in either a stalemate or pass only by a tiny margin. It’s time to change up the strategies.
IF you think leftists are rational, just look at these situations from 2023 and see why the strategies need to be changed:
Antisemitic views: Pro-Palestinian protesters blocked highways and entrances to airports across the country despite the horrors committed by Hamas on October 7. People like Rashida Tlaib and AOC, et.al, stand firmly with the Gazans even though Israel is not an occupier and paid for the land that was worthless until they took over. Israel voluntarily gave land back to the Arab Muslims in Gaza and they STILL continue to attack. The people protesting Israel would likely not appreciate their babies being beheaded or burned alive even though they claim to be ok with it.
Climate Cult: Republicans and Democrats alike have bought into the climate cult, watching without acting as the Biden administration has run roughshod over every appliance you thought you owned. Except that what’s being called “essential” to save the planet is not working the same for the elite. VP Harris still has her gas stove. And she could care less about you. Gas stoves, air conditioners, dishwashers, clothes washers, dryers, etc. have been regulated into the highest prices imaginable.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Fossil fuels that run 95% of our economy are considered the enemy by the Biden administration. Instead, they promote worthless energy like wind power or solar…neither of which work efficiently in most areas of the Northern United States. In our area, the wind doesn’t blow much, and the sun is not a cheap source of energy here. Not counting the fact that transitioning to these worthless green energy sources costs big bucks that most people do not have. Then there’s the purchase of filthy oil from places like Venezuela, when our oil and gas are cleaner and safer.
Then there’s the electric vehicle quagmire. We’ve written extensively about the problems with EVs. Not only are their batteries dangerous, but the cars and trucks can’t go very far without taking a bunch of time to recharge. IF you can find a place to recharge them. IF you have the time to wait. There’s the Chinese connection as China mines the minerals used in the batteries and the idiots in charge have banned mining them here in order to “save the planet.” How about saving the people from exploding cars?
Few people are buying them, by the way, as Ford scaled back their production. But you get a Tesla with no problem, if you can afford it and if it doesn’t blow up as you’re tooling down the freeway. Strategies need changing!
The delusional transgender craze:
Female athletes have been fighting for their lives as biological men destroy their ability to compete on a level playing field. Allowing males inside women’s locker rooms is all the trend now, and competing against men stronger than women has decimated women’s and girls’ sports on every level from high school to college. IF you think transgenders are rational, you might want to take a pill. They are irrational and delusional. Real science has been displaced by pretend games. Strategies, right?
“Woke” is actually sound asleep. As DEI and wokeism rampaged through the world, they are demanding that all white people are racist and must be punished. Cancel culture even affects Conservative Blacks, because you know, thinking for yourself is an equity violation. Never mind that the division these fools have created is right out of the Communist playbook. And they are so irrational that they think Communism/Socialism is “good.”
Eco-nuts:
None of this counts the fools who destroy famous artwork by throwing orange paint, or glueing themselves to the cement floor of a car dealership. Or falling in “love” with a tree.
More diseases on the way:
Speaking of strategies, WHO wants to run your life. China found a pneumonia that ran rampant through children. Then there’s “Parrot Fever” or psittacosis which is an outbreak in Sweden. If it should come here, you know well the stupidity that ensues. Fear breeds irrational behavior.
So how to fix it? Stop pretending everyone on the left or even some in the GOP are rational. Tell Ronna McDaniel to wake up and smell the coffee. In this war, fight fire with fire instead of sugar water. Stop being politically correct and stop being “nice.” Tell the truth and stop letting the media run with false narratives. Strategies need revamping.
