Why the Sept 10 Special Congressional Election in North Carolina is Very Important to President Trump

North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District is holding a special election on Tuesday, Sept 10 for the open seat in the House of Representatives. And in a race that is currently considered a dead heat, the stakes could not be any higher. Dan Bishop, the #TrumpEndorsed candidate, has strongly embraced the president and is running on a pro-Trump platform. His far-left opponent has constantly attacked the president and has made his ‘hatred for all things Trump’ a centerpiece of his campaign. Therefore, this Congressional race has turned into a referendum on President Trump.

Dan Bishop would be immediately one of the most qualified and effective members of the House of Representatives. Dan ran for and was elected to the state legislature in 2014, and in just his third term he’s become one of the most effective and conservative lawmakers in North Carolina. Dan led the fight to put the Voter ID Constitutional Amendment on the ballot last November and has been A rated by the NRA for protecting our second amendment rights. Dan cut or eliminated state income taxes on 99% of North Carolina families, and he voted to punish sanctuary cities that harbor illegal aliens.

And the grassroots are rallying around Dan Bishop. Maria Rubino-Decowski, a nationally known political activist and admin for the oldest and largest Tea Party group on Facebook, had this to say about the race. “Dan Bishop is a Constitutional Conservative. He is an effective lawmaker, fighting for the unborn, #2A rights, Voter ID and punishing Sanctuary Cities for harboring illegals. He supports President Trump and is a devout Christian, husband of over 20 years and father. I’m proud to support him”.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

And the importance of this race in ‘Trumpworld’ is understood by all. Both Donald Trump Jr. and Karen Pence, the wife of Vice President Mike Pence, recently made campaign appearances with Dan. And on Monday, Sept 9, President Trump will personally headline a Donald Trump/Dan Bishop rally in Fayetteville!
