When Left-wing America Redefined “Violence”

Left-wing America redefined violence, and it didn’t just start with the George Floyd riots in 2020. It started when American media began tipping leftward toward Marxist thinking.  Democrats and the MSM have always had a leftward list, but it became extreme with the Trump Derangement Syndrome. And now we’ve added EDS- the Elon Derangement Syndrome.

We all saw the “peaceful protest” claimed by the MSM as cities across the nation burned in 2020. Arson was once considered violent. Now it’s considered ‘peaceful protest.’

Assault and battery were and still are listed on the FBI reports as violent offenses, yet leftists have redefined those two offenses as “protests.” Robbery- of which looting is a part, is also listed as a violent offense. Looters now call it “reparations.”

Here’s another example of redefined violence: The left is ‘debating‘ whether a swastika carved into a Tesla is a hate crime.  Hate speech or hate crime, that is the question. I’ll submit there is little difference in the two. Musk has been called a Nazi, his businesses torched, and death threats abound. It’s hate, pure and simple, and hate breeds violence.

The left-wing America has redefined violence to excuse the actions of criminals. Protests against Israel are not “peaceful.” The participants (aka hate-fueled terrorist lovers) work to intimidate and strike fear in the Jewish populations both on campus and off. It’s the very definition of terrorism.

“Terrorism – The unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.” Oxford dictionary

None of that counts the continual excusing of murderers such as Luigi Mangione by women flocking to stand with him despite his on-video execution of a businessman with family.

Left-wing America redefined violence to excuse and ‘dumb-down’ the moral response to acts that in any other time would have brought swift condemnation. This country sits on the fence between disaster and hope – which will we choose?
