This was absolutely priceless… While acting as the MC for Sunday’s 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards on NBC, Ricky Gervais absolutely shredded Hollywood elitists, telling them that if they win an award to stay away from politics because they simply don’t know what they’re talking about.
“Apple roared into the TV game with The Morning Show, a superb drama [APPLAUSE] A superb drama about the importance of dignity and doing right thing made by a company that runs sweat shops in China. You say you’re woke but the companies you work for, unbelievable, Apple, Amazon, Disney. If ISIS started a stream service, you would call your agent, wouldn’t you?” he asked.
“So if you do win an award tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech, right? You’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent and your god, and [EXPLETIVE DELETED],” he said.

“Thank you, Ricky Gervais,” Karen Townsend wrote at Newsbusters. “Well done.”
We agree, 100 percent.
“The room didn’t like it, but us at home? Chef’s kiss,” Twitchy said, posting some of the response to his monologue.
ricky gervais says that Epstein didn’t kill himself and the crowd gasps and he says “I know he was your friend but I don’t care.”

Gervais’ calling out Hollywood hypocrites who work for malevolent companies while preaching politics was the single most dead-on comment ever made at one of these awards shows.
