On Wednesday, a scathing new ad paid for by the Trump campaign minced no words and accused the Democrat Party of engaging in a coup d’etat to remove the president from office, overturning the 2016 election.
“Democrats are trying to undo the election regardless of facts,” the narrator says. “It’s nothing short of a coup and it must be stopped.”
Trump also called it a coup on Twitter.
“As I learn more and more each day, I am coming to the conclusion that what is taking place is not an impeachment, it is a COUP, intended to take away the Power of the People, their VOTE, their Freedoms, their Second Amendment, Religion, Military, Border Wall, and their God-given rights as a Citizen of The United States of America!”

Trump has a point. Democrats and their allies in the biased liberal media have been pounding the impeachment drum since he was elected. They didn’t even wait for him to take office.

Some on the radical left (like Chelsea Handler, Sarah Silverman and alleged “news” outlets like the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times) have gone so far as to call for a military coup to take Trump out, while others have said Trump’s supporters need to die. Not long ago, former Massachusetts Gov. William Weld said Trump should be executed.
It really is enough to make one believe Democrats and their allies really want a second bloody civil war in America.
