An employee of residential building Turnberry Towers in Las Vegas is being hailed as a hero for stopping an active shooter on Friday. The armed attacker was nearing a helmet and carried an AR. Apparently, he didn’t reckon with meeting armed opposition. The employee pulled his own gun and shot the would-be attacker. Numerous lives were likely saved, and the attacker was transported to the hospital in critical condition. (KTNV)

The left would have you believe that guns are the problem, and that they don’t make people safe. They deny that there’s any such thing as a “good guy with a gun.” Yet there are thousands of examples of good guys stopping criminals who have evil intent. This incident on Friday is only one of them.
Good guys with guns stop bad guys with guns. This basic truth is not politically correct, and the media tries to deny it. Liberal elitists in Washington will never understand it as they exploit horrible tragedies and devise more schemes to restrict our gun rights. But the reality is: No matter how many laws and regulations there are, there will always be evil people intent on harming others. Even kids at home have stopped burglars who intent is to harm families. The elderly, both men and women, have stopped bad guys from harming them or others. The gun is the great equalizer and is necessary for self-defense in thousands of cases across the country. Yet the left continues to claim that such a scenario is a “myth.” Anti-gun groups and their media helpers promote the tragedies without checking into the realities behind what occurred. They simply don’t care.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
When someone takes up their guns and kills people, that is a tragedy. But there are millions of gun owners in this country, and they haven’t massacred anyone. If guns were the actual problem, by now there should have been millions killed. It’s simply not true. The left has no compulsion about lying, about being ignorant about weapons, or pushing an agenda designed to destroy your freedoms.
Hooray for good guys and gals with guns. The employee at Turnberry Towers is just one of thousands.
