Former Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard is under fire from far left critics for having had the audacity to tweet, “McAuliffe’s loss is a victory for all Americans,” according to Fox News.
She was talking about the stinging defeat of Democrat Terry McAuliffe in his unsuccessful bid to be elected as Virginia’s governor for a second time. Virginians furious over McAuliffe’s declaration a few weeks ago that “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”
Earlier, McAuliffe—considered by many to be a shoo-in running against s political neophyte—had also claimed two years ago that “diversity” and “inclusion” are “as important as” math and English, Fox News reported.
In addition, gun rights advocate Alan Gottlieb at the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms said the key to victory was the heavy turnout of gun owners. Old Dominion gun voters are still angry about the gun control laws adopted by Democrats in the House of Delegates in 2020 and signed into law by outgoing Gov. Ralph Northam, another Democrat.

Tuesday’s election was a clean sweep of Democrats from statewide office. Republicans Glenn Youngkin, Winsome Sears and Jason Miyares have been elected governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, respectively.
Gabbard, who left Congress two years ago, tweeted, “McAuliffe’s loss is a victory for all Americans. Why? Because it was a resounding rejection of efforts to divide us by race, the stripping of parental rights, and arrogant, deaf leaders. This benefits us all.”
The message has infuriated far left liberals, who challenge Gabbard to prove critical race theory (CRT) is being taught in schools. More than 1,800 reactions have been posted in reply, some of them visceral. Many claim CRT is not taught in the public schools. One person accused Gabbard of getting her news from the conservative Fox News.
Gabbard was an also-ran in the Democratic primary race for the party’s presidential nomination in 2020. Unlike other Democrats, she has been a guest on various Fox News programs.
