Fox News is losing yet another highly competent host as President Trump taps Judge Jeanine Pirro to be US Attorney for DC. The move comes after Republican Senator Thom Tillis refused to vote for the previous nomination of Ed Martin. Judge Pirro may trigger the leftists into apoplexy. And the Rinos may have just “cut off their nose to spite their face.”

What happened?
Ed Martin, known as ‘Eagle Martin,’ was supportive of the J6 arrestees, which was allegedly why Thom Tillis blocked his nomination. So…President Trump flipped the tables on the opposition: Ed Martin has been appointed – that’s appointed – as an associate deputy attorney general and pardon attorney. “Pardon attorney.” Ruh Row. Trump already pardoned the J6 arrestees. Martin will also be Director of a “weaponization working group” that is investigating Special Counsel Jack Smith. Democrats’ headaches on deck.

Enter Judge Jeanine Pirro, every leftist’s worst nightmare.
Judge Jeanine Pirro is well-known for her no-nonsense views on the law and criminal behavior. She is a definite Conservative. This appointment is temporary so far. Whether she moves into the position permanently is a question only President Trump and the Judge can answer.
“I am pleased to announce that Judge Jeanine Pirro will be appointed interim United States Attorney for the District of Columbia,” Trump wrote. “Jeanine is incredibly well qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York. She is in a class by herself.”
Pirro, a former judge and district attorney for Westchester County in New York, takes the helm of one of the largest federal prosecutor’s offices in the country. It’s been two decades she has held a position in law enforcement. ” MSN
This nomination may be even harder to get over the finish line if it moves from interim to permanent, but we’ll see. She is well connected and smarter than your average politician, so she may be able to navigate the gator-infested swamp of DC. Fox News, however, is experiencing a shortage of hosts.
