Trump Ribs Liberals by Giving Andrew Jackson’s 200-Yr-Old Magnolia Tree the BEST Name EVER! (Video)
The Trump administration has always been the best at ribbing and trolling the left and they are at it again in the case of Andrew Jackson’s 200-year-old magnolia tree.
On Tuesday, Trump planted an offshoot of the famous tree that Andrew Jackson is thought to have brought to Washington when he became president in 1829 pr so and planted on the grounds of the White House.
But as he announced the planting, Trump took a hilarious jab at the left by calling the tree a “MAGAnolia tree.”

So, what is with this tree?
Long-standing lore has always attributed the tree to Jackson. However, there is no proof that Jackson actually planted the tree. But it has been there at least since Lincoln’s presidency when photography became prevalent.
The tree had to be pulled down and disposed of this year because it simply was no longer viable.
A southern magnolia tree usually has a 100-year-life span, so the tree that has stood on the grounds of the White House far outlived its usual lifespan.
The re-planting is not sudden. The tree has been dying since the 1980s when the White House began trying to shore up the tree and prevent it from falling down and dying.
The U.S. Park Service began culling offshoots from from the tree to at least replant an offshoot so that the tradition of the tree could continue. And that is the plant that Trump planted this week.
