Thousands of leftists protest free speech in Boston, shut down rally supporting First Amendment
On Saturday, some 300 supporters of the First Amendment right to free speech gathered in Boston to conduct a rally. The rally, however, was disbanded after approximately 30,000 leftists engaged in a protest Breitbart.com said was “organized by groups such as Black Lives Matter and Boston’s ANSWER Coalition.”
According to Breitbart:
The rally was organized by a group known as the Boston Free Speech Coalition and invited “libertarians, conservatives, traditionalists, classical liberals, (Donald) Trump supporters or anyone else who enjoys their right to free speech.”
It was also addressed by Republican Senate candidate Shiva Ayyadurai and Libertarian congressional candidate Samson Racioppi, as counter-protesters sang songs comparing the participants to Nazis and white supremacists.

Leftists at the protest castigated free speech as “racist” and akin to Nazism.

The Daily Caller said that only about 40-60 people showed up to support free speech and were ultimately escorted out by police to ensure their safety from the leftists who took to the streets:
“I didn’t realize how unplanned of an event it was going to be,” said Samson Racioppi, a candidate for congress and rally speaker. “I really think it was supposed to be a good event by the organizers but it kinda fell apart.”
Left-wing activists and Black Lives Matter movement protesters came out in droves to protest the rally. Organizers for the event, coming on the heels of the Charlottesville white supremacist riots, repeatedly denied that their event had anything to do with the Klu Klux Klan or white supremacy.
There were a few confrontations between the counter-protesters and those who showed up for the free speech rally. A group of counter-protesters ended up snatching an American flag from the hands of an older woman.

In one incident, “tolerant” leftists attacked a veteran of Afghanistan as he was trynig to speak with reporters, calling him, “Nazi scum.”
Got that? A veteran who served in Afghanistan is now a “Nazi,” according to leftists.

“Veterans don’t get a free pass. Today’s Nazi for defending freedom of speech yesterday. You’re most at fault,” Antifa said.
Let this sink in for a moment: Liberals no longer support free speech. And if you support the First Amendment and the rights it ensures, you’re a Nazi.
