It was the second attempt to assassinate Trump on Sunday afternoon at his West Palm Beach International Golf Course. The suspect spent at least 12 hours casing the area prior to the incident, even to taking food with him. How did he know Trump would be there?
UPDATE: Breitbart reports that the rifle was a “loaded SKS-style 7.62×39 caliber rifle with a scope.”
Another attempt to assassinate Trump – one hole away
An AK-47 with a scope, 2 backpacks with ceramic plates, and a Go-pro camera, were found at what officials describe as a “sniper’s nest” near the 6th hole at the Trump International Golf Course, which was one hole away from where Trump was golfing. A Secret Service Agent spotted the barrel of the gun poking through a bush and opened fire. The suspect fled. A citizen took a photo of the suspect’s license plate, and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office pulled the suspect over to arrest him.

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was charged Monday morning with one count of possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number. Other charges are likely pending. He has a long rap sheet and social media presence. According to media reports, he laughed in the court room as the charges were read, and his demeanor from the moment he was arrested was “off.”

To show you how ineffective gun control is, Routh is a convicted felon – yet was able to obtain an AK-47. He is supposedly from North Carolina and lived in Hawaii (note: Hawaii has extreme gun control laws).
This second attempt to assassinate Trump leaves many questions: How did this suspect know that Trump would be there? How did he get so close without being confronted? Did someone deliberately leak his plans to go golfing the day before, or did the suspect “just happen” to figure it out?
Law enforcement officials described him as “smart” – but what’s with the defiant body language? Is this part of a wider conspiracy?
The constant drumbeat of hate directed against the former President is causing the crazies to pick up on the rhetoric pushed by leftists. The left and the media are amplifying the vicious statements they make, while blaming Trump and JD Vance. Added to the very real threat of assassination against Trump from Iran and its operatives, the danger is real.
