On Sunday, news broke that a woman drove her car through a crowd of pedestrians standing opposite the luxurious Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.
Initially, police were investigating the incident as a possible act of terrorism, but later ruled that out.
The driver has been detained and is currently being interviewed by authorities and tested for impairment.

Witnesses say the driver was a woman who had a child in the car.

The winner of the Miss Universe contest was announced around the same time the incident took place.
