Teen Gang-Raped on Facebook Live, Police Were Not Called

Teen Gang-Raped on Facebook Live, Police Were Not CalledA young 15-year-old girl in Chicago was apparently gang-raped during a Facebook live streaming video after she went missing from her home and nearly 40 people viewed the attack on Facebook while it was happening on Sunday and not one of the viewers reported it to police.

The young girl surfaced and when the teen’s mother at the time felt that her daughter may be in danger after seeing her daughter in a disturbing Facebook Live video.

The Daily Mail reported:

The distraught mother alerted police and launched an appeal to find her daughter, telling reporters she didn’t know if the men had taken her hostage or if she was scared and hiding.

She told CBS the footage showed the girl in various stages of undress with a group of males. Elkins said her daughter looked scared and the men or boys were being abusive toward her.

“I saw her face and the look on her face was just pure fear. And I, I just want my daughter home,” she said.

The young teen has been re-united with her mother and the Chicago Police said the teenager was found on Tuesday and they are now searching for the five or six men or boys suspected of sexually assaulting her.

Facebook has taken the video down.

This latest live-streamed Facebook attack comes on the heels after four people was allegedly caught on a Facebook Live video beating a tied-up mentally disabled teenager.

The suspects in that case, who are black, repeatedly shouted obscenities about President elect-Donald Trump and about the victim being white.

The writer of this report sends his prayers for the young teen and her family during this trying time.
