Sleazy Journos FINALLY Admit Truth About Hunter Biden… Now That It Can’t Hurt Joe

The exact stories the Dems refused to impeach Biden for are now 'safe' to report

After years of stonewalling by the press and the administration, the relevant facts become available just weeks after Kamala replaces Joe as the candidate.

Sounds an awful lot about the journos who waited for Hillary to become a political lost cause before admitting that, yes, Slick Willie probably DID rape a woman and get away with it.

Just yesterday, the New York Times finally ran a piece admitting what most of on the right, and ALL long-time ClashDaily readers will have known since long before Biden even declared his candidacy for President: that Hunter Biden was exchanging political favors from the federal government for money. A lot of money. And his dad was almost certainly in on it.

Yes, the company was Burisma. The same company that Joe Biden insisted that none of us had any right to inquire about because everything there was on the up-and-up.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Yes

Hunter Biden sought assistance from the U.S. government for a potentially lucrative energy project in Italy while his father was vice president, according to newly released records and interviews.

The records, which the Biden administration had withheld for years, indicate that Hunter Biden wrote at least one letter to the U.S. ambassador to Italy in 2016 seeking assistance for the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, where he was a board member.

Embassy officials appear to have been uneasy with the request from the son of the sitting vice president on behalf of a foreign company.
[…] Abbe Lowell, a lawyer for Mr. Biden, said his client “asked various people,” including the U.S. ambassador to Italy at the time, John R. Phillips, whether they could arrange an introduction between Burisma and the president of the Tuscany region of Italy, where Burisma was pursuing a geothermal project.

“No meeting occurred, no project materialized, no request for anything in the U.S. was ever sought and only an introduction in Italy was requested,” Mr. Lowell said in a statement, calling the outreach by Mr. Biden a “proper request.” — NYTimes

This isn’t about reporting the news, it’s the Democrat media equivalent of the Clinton approach to bad news. Deny it loudly until the shock of the bad news is mitigated, followed by a slow drip of minor admissions, eventually admitting the entire story long after the fact and dismissing it as ‘old news’.

This New York Times story — written by a company that never returned the Pulitzer they won for their debunked stories about Trump’s supposed Russian collusion — is following the same playbook with Hunter Biden that the Clintons used with their various scandals.

When Joe Biden was up for election, this was a non-story. When the laptop turned up evidence of criminal acts, it was ‘Russian Propaganda’. When House Oversight ran investigations into Suspicious Activities Reports, it was crass partisan politics. When an impeachment inquiry was opened into the Biden family dealings it was a witchhunt.

And now that Biden is safely coasting to the end of his term in office where the blowback will not hurt him OR the party, it’s just a fact. Like the one they admitted about Bill Clinton’s treatment of women.

This isn’t a story about how dirty the Biden family is. We already know all about that.

This is REALLY a story about how far the press will go to abuse the public trust that’s been invested in the First Amendment-protected media, without whose honest reporting we cannot hope to have a genuinely informed electorate.

It’s a betrayal of that trust as they put party loyalty above their commitment to the truth. Not only are they lying to us, they know it. And they know we know it.

And they lack any moral capacity to be embarrassed by that fact.

We have a word for that kind of blatant dishonesty in our public institutions: corruption.

If you think this is a one-off, it isn’t.

When the Durham Report was falling apart, the New York Times had a meeting. They were talking about how to report on Trump for the next two years (second half of his term). Can you guess which political filter they decided to run EVERY damned news story through for the rest of his time in office?

History shows us they — and the rest of the news media — followed through on that plan. It’s almost as if there was someone higher up the food chain, influencing these meetings, because from about that time, everyone was doing the same thing. And surprise, surprise, a news story came along in May of 2020 that was instantly elevated to being the face of exactly that issue.

Probably a coincidence that this is the story that blew up, right? Just like it’s a coincidence that the same information that the Oversight Committee was long since stonewalled over has suddenly become available to the lib-friendly broadsheets. Just one big damned coincidence.
