A whistleblower has come forward to the GOP describing something that looks suspiciously like an attempt by someone in Langley to obstruct justice in the criminal investigation of Hunter Biden.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Investigators wanted to interview Biden donor and Hunter’s benefactor, baby-mamma payer, new BFF (and now, art purchaser) about his financial dealings with Hunter Biden.
But the whistleblower claims federal investigators were prevented from doing so… by the CIA.
The CIA blocked federal investigators from interviewing Hunter Biden’s “sugar brother” Kevin Morris during a five-year probe into the first son’s alleged tax crimes, a whistleblower has told House impeachment leaders.
House Oversight and Judiciary Committee chairmen say the whistleblower informed them the intelligence agency stopped IRS and Justice Department investigators from interviewing Morris in August 2021, a Hollywood lawyer and patron of the first son, according to a Thursday letter addressed to CIA Director William Burns.
The whistleblower informed Oversight chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Judiciary chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) that two DOJ officials were summoned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Va. — and told Morris “could not be a witness” for their investigation into Hunter Biden.
[…] “However, these allegations track with other evidence showing how the DOJ deviated from its standard investigative practices during the investigation of Hunter Biden,” the letter said, later adding that the whistleblower’s account “seems to corroborate our concerns about DOJ’s deviations from standard process to provide Hunter Biden with preferential treatment.”Having seen how the CIA has meddled in elections to deep-six Trump and shield Biden, the only thing surprising about this is the audacity. — NYPost
It’s a helluva story to hear in the same week where Peter Navarro, who objected to the subpoena on at least two different legal grounds. One, that it was an improperly-constituted partisan committee and two, that such a committee demanded to question a presidential advisor, whose conversations with the President are shielded by Executive Privilege which could not be waived by anyone but the President himself.
But the newfound friend of the President’s son and Democrat donor who pulled Joe’s fat out of the fire a couple of times including quietly settling up an ugly paternity case with the mother of Hunter’s illegitimate child in which Hunter’s financial records had been demanded by the judge after he claimed he was too poor to cough up cash was somehow ‘off-limits’ for criminal investigators.
Keep in mind, investigators were also explicitly forbidden from following information trails that could lead to his father.
