Salem Riots – Violent Antifa Smash Car Windows of Freedom Rally

Salem, Oregon – On Sunday, March 28, Antifa conducted its usual “direct action” and attacked numerous vehicles with American and other flags before heading out of one place to smash up another. The Salem riots were lunacy on steroids. Police and media called them protests, but in fact, destroying people’s property is not a “protest.” It’s a riot. And they always use the excuse for violence because it’s a “counter” to a patriotic group’s actions. This time, the rally goers were only driving their vehicles on a public street.

“This was a pre-planned riot. They wore ballistic vests & carried guns, bats, shields & gasmasks. They assaulted drivers on the road by throwing paint & rocks.”

The first event billed as the Freedom Rally appeared on social media streams in February. A second event appeared soon after, named Fascist Free 503, indicating a counter response to the Freedom Rally. Social media posts connected to the group indicated their intention to prevent the Freedom Rally caravan from meeting at the state capitol.

Shortly before noon, approximately 100 individuals wearing black clothing and ballistic vests and carrying firearms, bats, skateboards, umbrellas, shields and gas masks arrived on the capitol mall grounds. Some individuals from the group carried Youth Liberation Front flags, a group known to espouse leftwing ideologies. The group congregated along Court Street in front of the capitol building.

Soon after their arrival, the Salem Police department began to receive reports that individuals from the Court Street group were targeting vehicles driving by. The victims reported their vehicles were damaged by paint filled balloons, rocks and other hard objects being thrown at them as they passed. One vehicle sustained significant damage after a large tree limb was thrown through the front window into the vehicle’s passenger seat. Patrol officers responded and took several reports to initiate criminal investigations.

One person fed up with the damage pulled a gun to back off black bloc rioters, and ended up arrested himself.

Andy Ngo advised later that the man was not booked into the Marion County jail. Three others, however were because after police successfully moved the black bloc away from the Capitol, they began “wreaking havoc” on the streets nearby.

Andy Ngo wrote on Twitter:

“Andrew Alan Foy, 34, of Portland, traveled down to the Oregon Capitol in Salem to allegedly participate in the violent #antifa riot where drivers were assaulted. He’s charged with several criminal offenses. He is from a well-to-do family in Chesapeake, Va. #AntifaMugshots“

“Nathan Lee McFarland, 33, was arrested at the violent #antifa riot in Salem, Ore. where rioters assaulted drivers in their vehicles outside the Capitol. He was quickly bailed out. McFarland is a regular at extreme far-left gatherings in Oregon.”

“Anthony Villaneda Martinez, 18, is an #antifa member who was arrested at the violent riot in Salem, Ore. w/a knife. He was bailed out by the Salem Bail Fund, who coordinated w/Antifa Salem. He’s charged w/multiple felonies, including assault. He previously wrote for @TeenVogue.”

But Antifa is only an “idea,” according to Democrats. They’re the second most destructive “idea” in the country. The most destructive idea is “Progressives” – Marxist liberalism.
