We have polls that portend a red wave in November. But are the Dems planning to rig the midterms? The White House quietly issued an Executive Order #14019 in March of 2021 that ignored the fact that election administration is the property of the states, not the Executive Branch. Before their plan to pass HR 1- the federalization of elections- failed, Biden signed the Executive Order aimed at 600 Federal agencies to have them “expand access” to voting. They’re not letting any grass grow under their feet.
The EO was carefully worded to withstand Republican challenges. The Order required Federal Agencies to file their plans with Susan Rice…Biden’s domestic policy advisor…and the details of those plans are what have been a secret. Numerous FOIA requests have gone unanswered, so both GOP lawmakers and media, as well as private groups are wondering what Biden, or his far left henchmen/women/she/her/he/him/they/them, are up to. If you remember, Susan Rice was Obama’s National Security Advisor, and complicit in everything from the Benghazi scandal to the Trump Russia Hoax.
As with previous efforts to destabilize elections, the chaos and confusion that would occur are part of the plan. The Executive Order copied much of a white paper put out by left-wing dark money group Demos, which advocates for left-wing changes to the country and which brags on its website that it moves “bold progressive ideas from cutting-edge concept to practical reality.” Not coincidentally, Biden put former Demos President K. Sabeel Rahman and former Demos Legal Strategies Director Chiraag Bains in key White House posts to oversee election-related initiatives.
Rahman serves as senior counsel at the White House office that oversees regulatory changes, meaning he approves every federal agency’s regulations and provides legal review of executive orders before they’re released. If you were looking to rush out constitutionally and ethically questionable orders, this post would be key to fill. Bains had been Demos’ director of legal strategies, helping write the paper that was turned into an executive order. He reports directly to Susan Rice, the hyperpartisan head of the Domestic Policy Council.
Biden has directed his agencies to work with third-party organizations… only Rice knows which ones she has approved for this end-run around the Constitution. How much taxpayer money are they spending on this mess? They aren’t answering that either, according to Mollie Hemingway. The Foundation for Government Accountability and the American Accountability Foundation both have filed lawsuits demanding the Justice department comply with the FOIA requests.
So far, this is what is known: The Department of Labor promised to turn 2,300 locations into voter registration and political hubs; The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced that their healthcare facilities will also be voter registration hubs (because seniors need healthcare less???); The Housing and Urban Development Department asked its agencies to begin voter registration drives- something which used to be illegal due to federal funding; The Department of Education sent information to universities that allows then to use work-study funds for voter registration activies which also used to be illegal; The U.S. Department of Agriculture is using child nutrition programs to push voter programs; The Commerce Department produced a 113 page report directing local poll workers about elections and training. (The Federalist). What else is going on in those plans? That’s part of what appears to be a secret.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Is the participation of Federal agencies in elections part of the plan to rig the midterms? The job of election administration belongs to the states. Congress did NOT pass HR 1, that simply means that all of these actions may not be legal at all. Not that Democrats have ever actually followed the law – look at the fit they’ve thrown over the Supreme Court rulings. If this turns out to be the Dems plan to rig the midterms, Jan 6 may turn out to be a picnic compared to the response.
