‘Targeted Terror Attack’: Man Identified As Illegal Egyptian National ‘Burns Jews Alive’ In Boulder, Colorado (Video)

WARNING: Some of the imagery in this story is graphic.

The FBI is investigating a “targeted terror attack” Sunday involving people, some of whom may be Jewish, being set on fire with Molotov cocktails at a mall in Boulder, Colorado.

Update: Mohamed Sabry Soliman’s charge has now been updated to murder.

The incident took place during an event supporting hostages taken Oct. 7, 2023, by the Islamic terror group Hamas leaving more than 1,200 people in Israel dead.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

FBI Director Kash Patel said on X: “We are aware of and fully investigating a targeted terror attack in Boulder, Colorado. Our agents and local law enforcement are on the scene already, and we will share updates as more information becomes available.”

Dan Bongino, the bureau’s deputy director, added: “This act of terror is being investigated as an act of ideologically motivated violence based on the early information, the evidence, and witness accounts.”

Reports from the scene at the Pearl Street Mall indicate a shirtless man with an accent was setting individuals ablaze.

The suspect is identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman who was arrested at the scene.

“There’s a woman who was on the ground bleeding out. And then there are two other women whose calves were burned from the fire,” one witness told Fox News. “And so I just ran over to stay with them and make sure that they didn’t lose too much blood from their legs.”

Another witness said: “There was a woman that was burning on the ground. We noticed two other people that had also been affected by the burns on their legs. And this man was shirtless and was yelling with some kind of accent and was threatening to burn people.”

Officials say at least six people were injured, one seriously.

Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn is actually contradicting the FBI director, as he told local media: “I’ve been in contact with our local FBI multiple times … We are not calling it a terror attack at this point. Again, it’s way too early to speculate motive. I know there’s a lot out there on social media, but I ask people to give us just little bit of patience while we work through a really complex scene.”

“This was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in downtown Boulder on Pearl Street, and this act is unacceptable,” he said. “I ask that you join me in thinking about our victims, the families of those victims, and everyone involved in this tragedy. Our hearts go out to them, and we are going to do everything we can to work as hard as we can throughout the evening to provide more information to get answers for everyone.”

Fox News indicated “the attack took place near an event put on by ‘Run for Their Lives,’ a grassroots organization that facilitates global run and walk events calling for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.”

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis called the attack a “heinous act of terror.”

“I am closely monitoring the situation in Boulder, and my thoughts go out to the people who have been injured and impacted by this heinous act of terror,” Polis said on X. “Hate-filled acts of any kind are unacceptable. While details emerge, the state works with local and federal law enforcement to support this investigation.”

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, said terror against Jews “does not stop at the Gaza border – it is already burning the streets of America.”

“Today, in Boulder, Colorado, Jewish people marched with a moral and humane demand: to return the hostages,” Danon wrote in a statement. “In response, the Jewish protesters were brutally attacked, with an attacker throwing a Molotov cocktails at them. Make no mistake – this is not a political protest, this is terrorism. The time for statements is over. It is time for concrete action to be taken against the instigators wherever they may be.”
