Rev. Peterson: ‘Obama is endangering the lives of police officers’
The murder of five Dallas, TX police officers and the discovery of an arsenal of weapons, including bomb-making material that was found in the home of the sniper, Micah Xavier Johnson, has outraged many, including Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, especially after Obama politicized the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.
The Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, President of BOND and author of “The Antidote: Healing America from the Poison of Hate, Blame, and Victimhood“, issued a statement about President Obama’s statements in regard to the murdered and injured police officers and civilians at Black Lives Matter Protest in Dallas, TX
Peterson said, “My prayers go out to the officers and families of those murdered and injured last night. Dallas looked like a war zone, and it is a sad day in America when police officers are targeted and gunned down by thugs.”
“Hours before the massacre, Barack Obama held a press conference and criticized police for the shooting deaths of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Philando Castile in Falcon Heights, Minnesota. Obama said that the killing of these two black men is ‘Symptomatic of… Racial Disparities’, “said Peterson. “Barack Obama is a racial arsonist who lit the fuse that resulted in the deaths of 5 Dallas police officers. It was irresponsible and reckless for him to prematurely blame “racial disparities” for these shootings without knowing the facts.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
“By suggesting that the shootings were racially motivated, Obama is endangering the lives of police officers. He’s also giving Black Lives Matter and other anti-police and anti-white groups a reason to commit violence. Obama has a history of falsely accusing police of ‘racism’ and he won’t stop, so maybe he wants the public to distrust police and the judicial system?”
“As long as we have people like Barack Obama, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Black Lives Matter, and others blaming the police and encouraging blacks to hate, we’ll have more bloodshed… Obama must be held accountable for his irresponsible and divisive comments,” Peterson said.
In related news, TMZ reported that Johnson was involved in pro-black and police watchdog groups and also his social media accounts revealed he was a member of several Black Panther organizations, including the Houston, Texas, New Black Panther Party Chapter.
