Forty-Three Republican Senators wrote a letter telling Biden to back off talks with Iran after the recent rocket attacks in Israel. Not that he’ll listen, but they are adamant that the US should not drop the sanctions against the rogue state in light of what they are doing. And they are absolutely correct.
“The United States engaging in active negotiations with Iran and potentially providing billions of dollars in sanctions relief will no doubt contribute to Iran’s support of Hamas and other terrorist organizations who attack Americans and our allies. We call on you to immediately end negotiations with Iran, and make clear that sanctions relief will not be provided. Doing so would demonstrate a firm commitment to our closest ally in the region and to our own security interests.” Senate letter to Biden Via the Daily Wire

Kudos to those Republican Senators. It is illogical to pursue removing the sanctions against Iran – we know for a fact that they’ve used the money sent to them to increase their weapons arsenal. They have not used it to help their own people. They continue to chant “Death to America” constantly – a chant now even being used by Antifa/BLM rioters. But then, there has been no actual logic used by the Biden administration since before the 2020 election. Just appeasement. And we know that appeasement can lead to disastrous consequences.
