Rachael Rollins skated through the Senate confirmation process with Kamala Harris casting the tie-breaker. The vote was 50-50. As Biden’s pick for US Attorney in Massachusetts, her track record was less than stellar in the prosecution of criminals, so all 50 Senate Republicans – even the RINOs – opposed her nomination. She has a long list of crimes for which she doesn’t prosecute. We previously reported on her at this link.
Democrats have defunded police departments, stopped prosecutions for numerous crimes, ended cash bail, and demanded early release even for violent criminals. These actions resulted in a historic increase in murders and contributed to the crime wave. Rachael Rollins won’t stand up for the victims of these crimes, and I will seek to stop her nomination.

Unfortunately, Sen Cotton was unable to stop her nomination, as Democrats all hung together, allowing Harris to cast the tie breaker vote.

In January 2021, Rachael Rollins threw a fit when a reporter came near her to ask her some questions. In a profanity-laced rant, she threatened to have the reporter arrested, and accused the reporter of putting her children’s lives at stake.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
“So as a black woman in this moment in this country, you’re going to put my (expletive) house on the screen?”
“Get away from my family. Speak to me at my job. If I get hurt or harmed because of this — you are on the record for that — or my kids are (expletive) killed.”
“Who do you think you are? This is private property. Get out of here. You know what I’ll do? I’ll call the police on you and make an allegation, and we’ll see how that works with you.” [Author note here: is this a threat to make a flse report? Sounds like it to us.]

According to Breitbart, the reporters were from “Boston 25 Investigates.” They were there to ask her about an incident in which she threatened to “write a woman a ticket in a mall parking lot.” Keep in mind that her house is not visible in their report, in spite of her claims that they had put her children in jeopardy. Rollins’ policies
The presumption of her office as DA of Suffolk County was “Consistent with Massachusetts bail statutes and Supreme Judicial Court decisions, our office’s official policy on cash bail and pre-trial release will be a presumptive recommendation of release on personal recognizance without conditions.”
She has 15 criminal offenses which she believes are best served by diversion rather than punishment and directed her attorneys to dismiss them. She created a commission to investigate officer-involved shootings, but nothing about officers themselves being shot.
This DA’s platform was not to prosecute 15 crimes, including theft, property destruction, drug dealing, and resisting arrest.
So radical, the National Police Association (NPA) “filed a Massachusetts state bar complaint against…” her. The NPA alleged, “the Boston lawyer violated ethics rules when she campaigned for…” DA. She promised to ignore laws and “enact policy changes that… adversely and… foreseeably impact the safety and wellbeing…” of residents
Rollins immediately targeted cops. She compiled a list of over 130 cops (70 Mass. State Police, 54 Boston PD) “accused of discrimination, corruption, or other misconduct….” The keyword is “accused.”
All in all, she has some good points. Somewhere. But the spectrum of her term in Suffolk County lets us all know that as a US Attorney for Massachusetts, Rachael Rollins may not be the best choice for the job.
