Psaki Suggests Unvaccinated Americans are to Blame for Biden Approval Ratings Plunge

I’m sorry…What?!

Of all the ways in which the Biden administration has attempted to skirt reality and shift blame, this is perhaps one of the most egregious.

It’s no secret that President Biden isn’t enjoying the sort of fond reception that the Democrats believed he would.  Not only has he faced increasingly ferocious criticisms from the GOP, but the reluctant Commander in Chief has been facing off against a great many within his own party – particularly those who hail from the far-left.

In addition, the Executive Branch’s vast and unending string of miscues and misses has sent his approval rating plunging to the depths of despair.

The White House, however, seems to be suggesting that Biden is unpopular because not enough folks have been vaccinated.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki claimed Monday that President Biden’s public approval rating is falling largely because of the ongoing effects of the coronavirus pandemic rather than the administration’s economic policies or priorities.

“Well, we think, one, there’s a couple factors,” Psaki said when asked to explain a Washington Post-ABC News poll published Sunday that showed Biden’s approval rating at 41 percent, with 53 percent of respondents disapproving.

“One is people are still — there’s a fatigue from COVID,” the press secretary added. “We see that in poll after poll … People are sick and tired of COVID and the impacts on the economy. We understand that; we’re tired of it too. That’s why this is the number-one priority, [it] continues to be getting COVID under control.”

And, as the White House loves to suggest, the only way to truly get the pandemic under control is to push more vaccines on Americans.

This isn’t the first time that the administration has suggested that vaccinations could solve a problem other than the pandemic, with Transportation Secretary  Pete Buttigieg having posited the possibility that more inoculations would somehow rectify the supply chain issues currently facing the nation.
