The news has been riddled with word that at least 3 Chinese spy balloons were spotted during the Trump administration. Either this is major disinformation and a total lie, or someone breached their duty in a serious manner. Who was it and why? Or is this something the Biden administration is using to take some of the heat off themselves for allowing the balloon to accomplish most of its mission? If the Pentagon failed to notify him, could it be treason?
“If it’s true the Pentagon purposely did NOT tell President Trump of Chinese Spy Balloons during his administration then we had a serious breach in command during the Trump admin…The POTUS is the Commander in Chief. We must investigate and hold accountable those who broke rank. Defense officials now claim that Chinese Spy Balloons briefly flew over the U.S. during the Trump admin, but if true, WHY is this just now being reported?” Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) The Epoch Times
When confronted by the Chinese balloon accusation, none- that’s NONE of the upper level Trump leadership stated that they were advised of the transit of any Chinese balloons. That includes Mark Esper, John Bolton, John Radcliff, and President Trump.
With technology, any of said balloons would have been easily discovered, and that includes people on the ground who noticed the current balloon caper. There was NO news of any of the balloons during the Trump administration. How is it that no one saw them?
And if it is true, how is it that no one notified the top leadership?
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
And according to several Trump Admin national security officials – they were never informed of these intrusions by the Pentagon.

Rep Mike Waltz, speaking to Stuart Varney during an interview, stated that it begs the question as to whether Pentagon failed to notify the President or any of his leadership- including former SecDef James Mattis.
“My office has been briefed by the office of the Secretary of Defense of the current Pentagon that it happened over Florida, it happened over Texas, and that it’s happened before. We have more detailed questions but what is unclear, Stuart, at this point is, did the Pentagon under the Trump Administration brief the Trump White House and give them the option to take action or did they decide not to brief them for whatever reason?
And there is some speculation, I talked to Trump administration officials over the weekend, that the Pentagon deliberately did it because they thought Trump would be too provocative and too aggressive… So that’s what we need to get to the bottom of and one person that I’m waiting to hear from that we haven’t heard from that list is former Secretary of Defense, General Mattis who was the secretary during this time period. What did he know and what did he decide to pass on and brief to the president.” Rep Mike Waltz, R-FL
The question remains: did the Pentagon intentionally disregard the chain of Command because of their own opinions? Mattis and Trump tangled often over policy decisions, but Mattis also tangled with Obama over policies. Neither one of them were particularly “easy to get along with” during contentious debates over policy. But failing to notify the President of a Chinese spy balloon is past egregious and wanders into treason territory. It was bad enough that Gen Milley went behind Trump’s back to contact an adversary, which could also be considered treason. The swamp is indeed full of gators.
We hope that an investigation is forthcoming.
