Officials in South Africa have called the latest round of flight restrictions a “knee jerk reaction” to a Covid variant “Omicron” that appears to be quite mild and mostly affects younger people. The US, UK, EU have all instituted travel bans on South Africa and various other countries. But the really sad part is that some countries have instituted lockdowns on the unvaccinated, and in the case of Australia have even created internment camps. Germany is weighing the possibility of vaccine mandates and has instituted lockdowns for the unvaxxed. Have you noticed that Omicron also spells “moronic”… just sayin’.
It appears this will never end even with the Omicron variant being exceedingly mild. Two people so far in the United States have tested positive for Omicron, one in California and one in Minnesota. But you know, we all need to panic (sarcasm). Biden instituted mask and testing extensions and new protocols for pre-departure testing for all travellers- moving the timeline of negative test to one day before departure rather than three:
- The rule will apply regardless of a traveler’s nationality or vaccination status.
- “This type of testing timetable provides an added degree of protection as scientists continue to study the Omicron variant,” Biden said Thursday while speaking at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
- The administration will also extend masking requirements for those traveling by plane, rail and public transit through March 18. (Yahoo News)

Australian Tyranny
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Australia’s largest internment camp is Howard Springs at a capacity of 2,000 people. Failure to go into the camp isn’t an option, and many who have gone there are subjected to thousands of dollars in fines. And it doesn’t seem to matter whether the victims do not test positive for Covid. Remember history: Australia was originally a penal colony – it appears their leadership hasn’t learned the lesson. Officials of the country have attempted to paint the camp as a “resort,” but with people attempting to escape the “fun,” that’s difficult to sell.

Australian citizen Hayley Hodgson recently was interred at Howard Springs for the requisite 14 days, even though she tested negative for Covid. Three times she tested negative. They found her by reading her license plate on a scooter after she gave a ride to a friend who later tested positive. Her choice? Take a Covid cab and face thousands of dollars in fines, or go to the internment camp and still face the fines. While there for 14 days, she lost her job. The video link to her experience is here.

Germany is no stranger to tyranny, if you recall. “Quarantine violators” in Saxony are at risk of a forced “residence” in Dresden. But as of December 2, Angela Merkel, who is on her way out as Chancellor, imposed a lockdown on all unvaccinated citizens, and proposed a vaccine mandate that begins February 2022.
“The situation is our country is serious,” she told reporters, claiming that the new measures are an “act of national solidarity.”
Other new requirements include masks being required in schools, Merkel added. Vaccinated people will lose their vaccination status nine months after receiving their last dose of a vaccine.
“We have understood that the situation is very serious and that we want to take further measures in addition to those already taken,” Merkel, who was slated to leave office on Dec. 2, told reporters. “The fourth wave must be broken and this has not yet been achieved.”
Heil to the Fatherland apparently. Germany is only slightly over 68% vaccinated thus far. The CDC has rated the country as a level four danger, and advises people not to visit there.
All in all, the entire world seems to have gone wonky. Lockdowns, special perks for the vaccinated, special punishments for those who refuse. The Covid-19 vaccine is NOT a normal vaccine, it is a modified RNA experiment. While most people sail through its implementation with no issues, others have serious immune reactions (yours truly among them). Are they doing this because of fear over the Omicron variant? Or are they just panicked that the Omicron bug MIGHT be as bad as the original Covid? Keep in mind that Covid had over a 99% survival rate in the first place.
And by the way, “Omicron” is also the name of a SciFi video game called “Omicron” from 1999. Kinda feels like we’re all in one of those right now.

Camps in Australia, government permission to use the bathroom in New Zealand, paying the government to not have a vaccine in Greece, lockdowns against the unvaccinated in Germany and Austria, with France considering the same.
All illogical, tyrannical, and obscene.
