Rep Dan Crenshaw said we should all thank Barack Obama for his maskless birthday bash because it ensures that Americans should not comply with any more mask mandates or lockdowns. And he wasn’t the only one. Senator Rand Paul (a medical doctor, by the way) was hot on the trail of stopping people like Dr Flip-Flop Fauci and instructing people to resist any more mandates or lockdowns that keep children from going to school. The Obama birthday bash has garnered a lot of criticism.
Frankly I think we should be thanking the Obama’s for ensuring that Americans will absolutely not comply with more lockdowns. Lockdowns don’t work, the costs are too high, and the people who force them upon us know this too. Do not comply.

I’m not the only one who is fed up. I can’t go anywhere these days without people coming up and thanking me for standing up for them. Whether I’m at work, or at events in Kentucky, at airports, in restaurants, or in stores, people thank me for taking a stand. They thank me for standing up for actual science. For standing up for freedom. For standing against mandates, lockdowns, and bureaucratic power grabs.
I think the tide is turning as more and more people are willing to stand up. I see stories from across the country of parents standing up to the unions and school boards. The issue with Obama’s birthday bash was that there was an outbreak of the Covid Delta Variant at Cape Cod while they were having their party. In a poorly ventilated tent. With nearly 500 people on an island off the coast of Massachusetts. The Obama crew issued a statement that said they followed all the CDC guidelines. Everyone had to show a negative Covid test if they weren’t vaccinated.

Yep, they ”significantly scaled it back’ to about 500 people and 200 staff. One of the police officers wrangling the traffic there called it a ‘traffic s***show.’

It should be a reminder to all that the order to delete all their photos of the event is the ultimate hypocrisy. Good thing that within 500 people there will always be a leak somewhere with a media person waiting for an opportunity. Just as Gov Newsom’s party and the Mayor of San Francisco’s lunch…
In the throes of the nation’s strictest lockdown measures over the past year, the American people have seen numerous public figures break their own arbitrary lockdown measures they themselves were enforcing. From fancy dinners the press was not supposed to know about to face mask removal when the cameras were turned off, hypocrisy from our elites was ripe.
The massive party from the Obamas, Crenshaw argued, is another instance where citizens might feel like the harsh lockdown rules only apply to the little people.
As one commenter put it, the elites are always the first ones to violate their own rules.
