NYTimes Admits: There Is Corruption In Ukraine After Military Contract Money ‘Vanished’
If only there were news outlets that were concerned about NATO nations shoveling billions of dollars into a former Soviet state that was known for corruption…
Oh, there were. Lots of them.
It just wasn’t much of a concern for the New York Times.
Perhaps in a year or so, NYT will start to notice the Ukrainian government’s crackdown on Orthodox churches and the “champion of democracy” Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s insistence that democracy must be suspended in order to protect democracy.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Many conservatives were skeptical about sending cash to what has been widely reported for years as a corrupt government.
Remember, this was the same country then-President Joe Biden was tasked with fighting corruption while his son, Hunter, was on the board of energy company, Burisma, which was being investigated by then-Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin … until Joe leveraged $1 billion in U.S. aid and then … son of a bitch, the guy was fired. So much for fighting corruption…
But while the concerns about corruption in Ukraine were making waves in right-wing media, it barely made a ripple in the left-leaning Regime Media.

Kurt Zindulka at Breitbart reports that the New York Times has just noticed that there just might be a problem with corruption in Ukraine after nine senior government officials have been sacked amid corruption allegations and Ukrainian officials have admitted that money for military contracts has “vanished.”
Following the dismissal of Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov amid a slew of corruption scandals surrounding the war effort against Russia, the New York Times acknowledged that the “enduring challenge of corruption in Ukraine” has “emerged as a rare area of criticism of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s leadership.”
Although Reznikov has yet to be tied with any of the corruption scandals personally, the Times went on to admit that the resignation has “elevated the issue to the highest level of Ukrainian politics”. Unnamed Ukrainian officials even told the paper that some funds intended for military contracts “failed to produce weaponry or ammunition and that some money has vanished,” while claiming that the issue was merely confined to the early days of the war.
