NYC Teens Attack a BMW, and in Queens, Even The Squirrels are Mad

In NYC, not only has the murder rate gone through the roof, but lawless behavior is at a new high. At around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, a group of NYC teens attacked a BMW while the occupants were waiting for them to cross the street. The car was seriously damaged. The city even has a problem with rampaging squirrels. For real. Not Satire.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Yes

The NYC teens were not a protest, as far as you can tell from the videos, they were just a bunch of thugs. The BMW had a 50 year old man and woman inside, and the car had what was described by onlookers as “medical plates.” According to the video, the occupants remained outwardly calm, but told police they were “scared for their lives.”

Several assailants surrounded the luxury ride at Fifth Avenue and 21st Street around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, with some pounding the vehicle with their fists and feet, and another smashing a bike down on top of it, video posted to Instagram by Breaking911 shows.

One attacker got a running start, vaulted up on the hood of the BMW and jumped on top of the windshield, causing it to partly cave in, the video shows.

“This was an animalistic attack in broad daylight,“ said one Manhattan cop, noting that the vehicle’s occupants, a man and woman in their 50s, were scared for their lives. “It shows how far the city has deteriorated and the politicians better get their heads out of the sand and start to deal with these problems before there is nothing left.”

The same group similarly attacked a cab a short time later, the source said.

The incident is under investigation, and the motive for the attack is unclear at this point. But not only are teens rampaging, and people being shot, the squirrels are also out of control.

In simple terms, the squirrels in a Queens neighborhood have been attacking the locals. Squirrels. Attacking residents. Squirrels are normally timid little creatures that yell at you if they’re mad, but rarely attack. And they are kind of cute. Except when they draw blood. Do they hate Cuomo or are they working for him?

“It just basically runs up my leg and I’m like OK squirrel, hello, what are you doing. He either bit or scratched me on my neck and then I must have reached over and next thing I know, it’s a cage match and I’m losing.”

She warned her neighbor, got a rabies shot, and learned that she has not been the only one attacked. At least 3 other people have had scratches and bites. ABC7 spoke with the residents, who say they have not been feeding the little buggers, which is the normal cause of aggression. As is standard in NYC, the city told the residents to hire their own trapper. They aren’t going to help with the Squirrel Gang War.

Such is life in NYC. Shootings, NYC teens attacking a car, and vicious squirrels who attack residents without provocation.
