Mural on wall of California high school shows Aztec warrior spearing Trump’s decapitated head

Earlier this week, reports emerged of a mural painted on the wall of the MAAC Community Charter School in Chula Vista, California, which depicted an Aztec warrior spearing President Donald Trump’s bloody, decapitated head.

News of the mural was first broken by KUSI, which reported:

KUSI News learned about the mural after a viewer sent a picture, offended by the depiction. It depicts an Aztec warrior, spearing President Donald Trump’s decapitated, bloody head.

Many residents in the area considered it graphic and inappropriate, considering it was on the wall of a school.

KUSI started looking into the mural Tuesday but received no comment from the school. By Wednesday, the school sent a statement and had already covered up the mural.

Translation: The school apparently approved of the mural until it caused a backlash.

According to News 8:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Many residents in the area considered the display, which was on the wall of a school, graphic and inappropriate.

As of Wednesday, the school covered the mural with a black tarp and have asked the artist to come back and modify the mural.

MAAC Charter, chartered by Sweetwater Union High School District, touts itself as a community school that offers students a unique curriculum in which students learn traditional subjects in relation to real-world issues.

Director Tommy Ramirez says this mural was a part of Battlegroundz, an annual event which highlights the urban art form of street murals to raise money to provide scholarships for seniors.

“We understand that there was a mural painted at the event this past weekend that does not align with our school’s philosophy of non-violence. We have been in communication with the artist who has agreed to modify the artwork to better align with the school’s philosophy,” Ramirez said.

In a statement, the Sweetwater District said:

“Although the MAAC School is chartered by the Sweetwater Union High School District, we do not have administrative or programmatic oversight of them or their programs. We are glad to see that they are taking immediate action on this. However, any concerns regarding this situation should be addressed with them directly and not with the Sweetwater Union High School District.”

Here’s video of the report by WUSI:

KUSI reporter Dan Plante, by the way, noted that alleged comedian and Trump-hater George Lopez “liked” the image of the mural on Facebook.  Of course, since liberalism is an ideology of insane, bloodthirsty rage and hate.
