On Sunday, Hollywood leftist Rob Reiner invoked the Civil War and falsely blamed Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s shutdown on Republicans and — of course — racism.
“Make no mistake, this shutdown boils down to one thing: RACISM. GOP frightened to death of the browning of America. They will lose this last big battle of the Civil War. Diversity is our strength,” he tweeted.

Apparently, Reiner is unaware the Civil War ended over 150 years ago. Either that, or he’s advocating for another armed conflict between Americans.
As we reported, Senate Democrats forced a partial shutdown of the government when they refused to pass a spending bill that contained nothing they opposed. In short, they placed some 800,000 illegal immigrants over millions of Americans, including those serving in the military in harm’s way.
Schumer — who said a shutdown over immigration would cause “chaos” in 2013 — and his fellow Democrats have tried to blame it on Republicans. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., even blamed it on the genetic material of her GOP colleagues.
But facts are facts. And the fact is the current shutdown can be placed squarely at the feet of Schumer and his fellow Democrats — hence the term, “Schumer shutdown.”
One person told Reiner:
I used to like you. But not so much any more.
You want absolute control.
It needs to be cyclical so all Americans are heard.
That’s why we are a republic and that’s why we have an electoral college.
One side should never have absolute control. That’s when America loses.

One person referenced Reiner’s role in the sitcom, “All in the Family,” telling him that he’s still a “meathead.”

Borders arent racist. Hard-working American citizens have a right to object to billions of tax dollars being spent on services for illegal aliens. They have a right to express concerns about the effects on our schools, communities, crime rates. Stop the racism accusations.

But false charges of racism is all the left has…
However, that charge seems to be a double-edged sword, so to speak:
Serious Rob. Wow. Keep comments from hollywierd out of it.

Indeed. Isn’t it just amazing that rich liberals like Reiner love to lecture the rest of us?
Others reminded Reiner and his liberal supporters that strength comes from more than just “diversity,” which oddly, never includes diversity of thought.
Actually, unity is our strength. Diversity in and of itself is not our strength.

No unity in love of country and one another is and always has been our strength as a people since this great nation was founded. Where diversity appears to only have been dividing us ever since liberals and democrats decided to weaponize it for political gain and votes.

You have literally lost your mind. What are u afraid of Rob? That you may be wrong and are actually a dupe for Marxism and would have to re-think all u believe is true? Delusion does not become you. Truth is not mean, it’s just truth.

“Truth is not mean, it’s just truth.” So true.
