We all know that Joe Biden delivers at least one lie about his personal experiences, his history, or his achievements in nearly every speech. Now it looks like the official White House social media team is taking up its boss’s bad habits with an outright lie about the Martin Luther King, Jr., bust that sits in the Oval Office. And they pushed out this lie on MLK Day, no less.
In its Martin Luther King Day post on X, the White House crowed, “Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s bust sits inside the Oval Office — handpicked by President Biden — as a reflection of President Biden’s promise to America: to restore the soul of America, to rebuild this country from the bottom up and the middle out, and to unite it.”
But all of this is a lie.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
The truth is, the bust was “picked” by Barack Obama when he was president. It wasn’t “handpicked by President Biden” at all.
The bust, created by African-American artist Charles Alston in 1970, was added to the Oval Office in 2009, not long after Obama was inaugurated.
Furthermore, the post seems to hint that the president put the bust in the Oval Office “as a reflection” of Biden’s promises.
This is also not true. That bust has been sitting in the Oval Office since the day Obama put it there. It also remained there during Donald Trump’s four-year term in office — though he moved it to a different spot in the office.
Finally, Biden has been far from a “uniter” while in office. In nearly every political speech he makes he calls half of America terrorists, dangerous, and unAmerican. He has been such a divider that even blacks are fleeing the Democrat Party in droves.
Sadly, it looks like the “grownups” that the left-wing media said were set to re-take the White House are little else but a pack of liars.
And they used the celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., as a vehicle to push those lies.
For shame.
