Logo For Twitter’s New ‘Birdwatch’ Program Reminds Some of Orwell’s ‘1984’

On Monday, Twitter announced a new way to annoy its users — a program called “Birdwatch,” where select users can add “notes” to tweets in what it claims is an effort to combat misinformation.

Of course, as Dana Loesch found out, not everyone is allowed to join this online speech-minder program.
