Left-wing Vox editor: ‘If Trump comes to your town, start a riot’

Vox-logoI’ve often said that liberalism, at its core, is an ideology of rage and hate.  Proving the point yet again is Vox “deputy first person editor” Emmett Rensin, who praised the violent protesters and actually advocated even more violence on Twitter.

Then he said this:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

And liberals like this say conservatives are the violent ones.

He wasn’t finished:

He also argued that destruction of property isn’t violence:

And got called out for it:

But he still maintains that Trump is to blame for left-wing violence:

Ah, so it’s Trump’s fault that a mob of unhinged leftists attacked Trump supporters and destroyed private property.  This, ladies and gentlemen, is the twisted “thinking” of a leftist.

Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey observed:

So …. who exactly is the fascist in this scenario? The Week’s Michael Dougherty seemed to wonder that himself, asking Rensin what exactly he saw as the limits of “legitimate” political violence. The answer? Murder’s out … but that’s about it:

Maybe Rensin should tell that to the many liberals on Twitter advocating Trump’s murder.  Still, I’m not exactly comforted by this.

Back in September 2011, a former intelligence officer wondered if another bloody civil war was brewing, considering the violent rhetoric and actions of the left at the time.

I’ve asked that question myself many times, and this call to violence by Rensin makes me believe that yes, liberals really do want bloody conflict in the streets so they can somehow justify stripping us all of our Constitutional rights.

And Rensin and company will get what the think they want…

God help us…
